The Inverse Problems in the Physical Sciences IPPhys2026 Summer School will take place in the city of Puerto Varas, Chile, between January 5 and 8, 2026.
The goal of this summer school is to provide high-level training in inverse problems through courses delivered by internationally recognized experts in a variety of fields, including imaging modalities, seismic imaging, machine learning techniques, and their applications in geophysics, biomedicine, astronomy, astrophysics, and other physical sciences.
We expect this interaction to be particularly valuable for young researchers and postgraduate students working in these areas, offering them both a solid theoretical foundation and exposure to cutting-edge applications.
