This meeting aims to explore the trends and successful cases in the process of technology transfer, from scientific research to industrial and business sectors.

The invited speakers will present several  models and experiences of technology transfer, on a large variety of domains, for example, biotechnology, bioinformatics, high performance computing and software development, transport, energy, and sustainable development, among others.

Institutional strategies in the field of innovation and technology transfer will be also presented  by the University representatives.

This Workshop is organized by the CMM-Center for Mathematical Modeling (University of Chile), in collaboration with the Délégation Wallonie-Bruxelles in Santiago, and the network LIEU (Liaison Universités Entreprises, Belgium), in the context of the agreement signed in 2013 between the University of Chile and LIEU.
