José Sobrino
University of Valencia, Spain
Ph.D. in Physics (1989), Professor of Earth Physics and Remote Sensing at the University of Valencia (UVEG) and Director of its Global Change Unit. He holds prominent roles such as President of the Spanish Association of Remote Sensing, Coordinator of the Spanish chapter of SELPER, and member of various advisory groups for ESA missions, including Copernicus LSTM and TRISHNA. He is also the Chief Editor of the *Frontiers in Remote Sensing* journal and has coordinated numerous symposiums and scientific networks.
Dr. Sobrino has published over 300 articles, 350 conference papers, and 30 book chapters. He has supervised 20 Ph.D. theses and led more than 70 research projects funded by Spain, the EU, and ESA. Additionally, he has served on editorial boards of several international journals and has been an expert on various national and international scientific panels. His contributions to Earth observation earned him the King Jaime I Award for Environmental Protection in 2019.

Itziar Alonso
European Space Agency, Italy
Telecommunications Engineer and PhD in Remote Sensing. For most of her career she has worked on the development of applications using earth observation data. In the last five years she has been involved in the implementation of cloud infrastructures for the exploitation of Earth observation data at the European Space Agency (ESA). Since 2023, she is working in the Office for Sustainable Initiatives, where she is responsible for the implementation of the CopernicusLAC Regional Centre in Panama by ESA.

Juan Manuel de Faramiñán
University of Jaén, Spain
Emeritus Professor of Public International Law and International Relations at the University of Jaén, where he also co-directs the AstroAndalus Chair of Aerospace and Astronomical Studies and holds the Jean Monnet Chair in European Union Institutions and Law. He has held various leadership roles, including Director of the Observatory of Globalization and Social Change, and has been instrumental in establishing and leading international academic networks. Faramiñán has provided legal counsel on high-level projects, collaborating with governments and international organizations on matters related to space law and European Community law.
Among his academic achievements, he has published numerous works on space law, human rights, and globalization, and has coordinated significant studies on security and sustainable development in seas and oceans. Additionally, he has been awarded multiple honors and has held prominent positions in various legal and academic institutions, including serving on the Permanent Court of Arbitration for disputes related to space activities.

Giao-Minh Nguyen

Co-founder and Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer (CSIO) at Prométhée Earth Intelligence. He completed the Executive Education Advanced Certificate in Aerospace and Aviation at HEC Paris and the Executive Education in Financial Analysis at ESSEC Business School. He earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. Previously, he obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Production from the University Institute of Cachan, France.

Walt Everetts is the retired Vice President of Space and Ground Services at Iridium Communications Inc., where he oversaw the company’s space-based network operations, global teleport antennas, Gateways, and system upgrades. His role involved managing the satellite constellation and ground systems to ensure reliable communications services. Mr. Everetts holds a bachelor’s in aerospace engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
He began his career in aerospace, working on satellite integration, testing, and launching. In 1996, he joined Motorola’s satellite communications division, managing the Iridium satellite constellation’s delivery and deployment. Afterward, he took on program management roles across 40 countries in various telecommunications projects. He rejoined Iridium in 2008 as Space Systems Operations Director and was later promoted to VP of Space Operations and Engineering in 2013, and to VP of Space and Ground Services in 2021.

Marcos Díaz Quezada
University of Chile
Civil Electrical Engineer from the Department of Electrical Engineering (DIE) at the University of Chile. He earned his MSc and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Boston University. He is currently an academic and researcher at the Space and Planetary Exploration Laboratory in the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (FCFM) and has held the position of Associate Professor since 2023.

Philippe Lattes
Expertise France, Francia
President and Co-Founder of LEOBLUE, a startup focused on innovative solutions for the space sector, especially in direct space-to-ground communications. With more than 32 years of experience in the field, he has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the sector.
In addition, he collaborates as Chargé de mission Espace et formation continue at ENSEIRB-MATMECA, where he designs and delivers training programmes for space professionals and students. He also acts as a project expert for Expertise France, supporting international countries in space activities and innovation.

Juan Carlos Valdiviezo
Director Centro Geo, México
Electronic Engineer from the Instituto Tecnológico de Tuxtla Gutiérrez. He obtained the degree of Master of Science in Optics and the degree of Doctor of Science in Optics, both from the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics.
He has carried out research stays at the Institute of Optics ‘Daza de Valdés’ in Madrid, Spain, and at the Politecnico di Torino in Italy. He is currently a Research Professor at the Centro de Investigación en Ciencias de Información Geoespacial in Mexico City. He is a member of the National System of Researchers at level 1 and his research interests include: pattern recognition, satellite image processing and analysis, automatic land cover classification and remote sensing applications.
He is currently a CONACYT Professor at CentoGeo. His research interests are remote sensing, image processing and analysis, neural networks.

José Fernando Jiménez
Los Andes University, Colombia
Electrical Engineer graduated from the Universidad de los Andes (Uniandes), Colombia. He obtained the Diplôme d’études approfondies in Automatic Control from the Institut Supérieur de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace (ISAE-SUPAERO) in 1983, and the PhD in Industrial Systems from INSA Toulouse and Uniandes in 2000. Since 1994, he has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Uniandes. Additionally, he is a professional member of IEEE in the Aerospace and Electronics Systems Society.
Dr. Jiménez leads the creation of the Colombian Aerospace Consortium, aiming to establish the first Colombian Space Agency in collaboration with the Colombian Air Force, various universities, and the government. He also participates in the FabSpace 2.0 consortium, an open network for accessing geospatial data provided by the SENTINEL satellite constellation, supported by the COPERNICUS program and led by the European Space Agency (ESA).

Alina Nassar
Nassar Abogados, Costa Rica
Head of the Aviation Law Department and Co-Head of the Regional Competition Department of Nassar Attorneys-at-Law. She holds an MSc in Space Studies from KU Leuven University, a Certificate in Advanced Leadership and Management from Oxford University, an International Competition Law Diploma, and an LL.M. from the University of Austin. His experience includes advising multinationals in the aviation and aerospace industry, and defending companies before the Commission to Promote Competition. He has led transactions for aircraft financing and airline certification, and provides legal advice on mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on compliance with mandatory notifications and competition in the region.
She was a member of the Board of Directors of the International Aviation Womens Association (IAWA) between 2010 and 2021, serving as Chair in 2018-2019. She has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican Airline Association (ALA) and Fiscal of the Coalition of Initiatives for Development (CINDE). She has been recognised by Chambers & Partners, IFLR and Euromoney Legal Media Group Americas.
