Walt Everetts is the retired Vice President of Space and Ground Services at Iridium Communications Inc., where he oversaw the company\u2019s space-based network operations, global teleport antennas, Gateways, and system upgrades. His role involved managing the satellite constellation and ground systems to ensure reliable communications services. Mr. Everetts holds a bachelor\u2019s in aerospace engineering from Pennsylvania State University.<\/p>\n
He began his career in aerospace, working on satellite integration, testing, and launching. In 1996, he joined Motorola\u2019s satellite communications division, managing the Iridium satellite constellation\u2019s delivery and deployment. Afterward, he took on program management roles across 40 countries in various telecommunications projects.
