About ISCV

The Instituto de Sistemas Complejos de Valparaíso (ISCV) is a center for research and dissemination of Complex Systems whose objective is the development of state-of-the-art knowledge, formulation of new paradigms, and promotion of open scientific discussions among researchers, visitors, and students, as well as its dissemination to both the productive sector and the general public.

The ISCV is a private non-profit corporation, founded in 2004, inclusive and welcoming, which provides the community with infrastructure in a scientific environment that promotes cooperation and interaction among its participants. The above, in a space with a privileged panoramic view of the bay and the hills of the city-port whose historic center was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2003.

How to get there

Public transportation or bus:
By public transportation, take bus lines 602 (Avenida Errazuriz) or 510 (Calle Blanco), get off at Gran Bretaña and Av. Playa Ancha and walk to Paseo 21 de Mayo.

Private car or collective cab:
By car or collective cab “Pacífico” with red sign (Calle Blanco) and get off at Paseo 21 de Mayo.

Walking:
If you are walking you must arrive at Aduana Square and walk up Carampangue Street, then take the Artillery stairs until you reach Paseo 21 de Mayo.
