The Summer School in Probabilities and Stochastic Processes is organized by the Center for Mathematical Modeling (CMM) of the University of Chile.

The first version of this school was held at the CMM in January 2015, the second version in January 2016, the third version in January 2018 and the fourth version was held online in January 2021. The fifth version was held in January 2023 again face-to-face at our Faculty.

The objective of the school is to introduce current research topics in probabilities, at an introductory level and in an informal environment. At the same time, it is expected to generate a space for dissemination and discussion and to encourage the development of new scientific interactions in the country and the region. In particular, the participation of young researchers and students from the region is encouraged.
