The Summer School in Probabilities and Stochastic Processes<\/strong>\u00a0is organized by the Center for Mathematical Modeling (CMM)<\/a> of the University of Chile.<\/p>\n

The first version<\/a> of this school took place at the CMM in January 2015, followed by the second<\/a> in January 2016, the third<\/a> in January 2018, and the fourth<\/a>, which was held online in January 2021. The fifth version<\/a> returned to an in-person format in January 2023 at our Faculty. The sixth version<\/a> took place in January 2024, and the seventh<\/a> followed in January 2025. The eighth version is scheduled for January 2027.<\/p>\n

The objective of the school is to introduce current research topics in probabilities, at an introductory level and in an informal environment. At the same time, it is expected to generate a space for dissemination and discussion and to encourage the development of new scientific interactions in the country and the region. In particular, the participation of young researchers and students from across the region is encouraged.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
