Getting to Puerto Natales

There are two main ways to reach Puerto Natales. The most convenient is to fly directly from Santiago Airport (SCL) to Puerto Natales (PNT), with up to two direct flights available per day, along with a couple of additional options that include layovers. We strongly recommend this route if available.

Alternatively, you can fly from Santiago to Punta Arenas (PUQ), which has up to six daily flights. From Punta Arenas, you can continue by bus to Puerto Natales. The ride takes approximately three hours, and tickets can be booked up to 45 days in advance—see, for example, https://www.bussur.com.
