Samuel Almond, Sectoral Information System Officer, Copernicus Climate Change monitoring Service. Samuel is working at ECMWF, the entrusted entity implementing the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) on behalf of the EC. In the role of ‘Sectoral Information System Officer’ he manages a diverse set of contracts which aim to showcase how the C3S’s Climate Data Store (CDS) and associated infrastructure can be be used to deliver user-driven climate information for specific sectors.

Gino CasassaGino Casassa

Gino Casassa, General Directorate of Water Management at the Ministry of Public Works, Chile. Glaciologist,  is one of the most outstanding Chilean scientists and was a pioneer in stating that glaciers were in danger, since their retreat was imminent due to global warming.

Gino Cassasa is Deputy Director of the Climate and Cryosphere Project Scientific Committee of the World Climate Research Programme in conjunction with the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research, and Vice President of the International Association of Cryospheric Sciences.

Corinne is an Oceanographer at Mercator Ocean International, implementer of the Copernicus Marine Service. She’s the Portfolio & Market Intelligence Manager of the Copernicus Marine products and in charge of user feedback and analysis.

Vincent LegrosVincent Legros

Marketing Officer at Mercator Ocean International. He manages the operational marketing for the WEkEO and the Copernicus Marine Service events through surveys, impact studies and analyses.

Mark Parrington is a senior scientist in the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) Development Section at ECMWF working on wildfire emissions, and emissions from anthropogenic and natural sources, and their influence on global atmospheric composition.

Director of the Global Change Unit. Imaging Processing Laboratory. University of Valencia. Spanish physicist, professor and researcher at the University of Valencia in the field of remote sensing. Rey Jaime I Award for Environmental Protection 2019. He is the current president of the Spanish Association of Remote Sensing. He is director of the Revista Española de Teledetección, Director of the Global Change Unit at the University of Valencia. He is also founding president of the conference series on Recent Advances in Quantitative Remote Sensing.
