About ISCV
The Instituto de Sistemas Complejos de Valparaíso (ISCV – Valparaíso Institute for Complex Systems) is a center for research and dissemination of Complex Systems whose objective is the development of cutting-edge knowledge, the formulation of new paradigms, and the promotion of open scientific discussions among researchers, visitors, and students, as well as its dissemination to both the productive sector and the general public.
The ISCV is a private, non-profit corporation, founded in 2004, that is inclusive and welcoming, providing the community with infrastructure in a scientific environment that promotes cooperation and interaction among its participants. All this in a space with a privileged panoramic view of the bay and the hills of the port city, whose historic center was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2003.

How to get to ISCV?
Public transportation or bus:
By public transportation, take bus line 602 (Avenida Errazuriz) or 510 (Calle Blanco), get off at Gran Bretaña and Av. Playa Ancha, and walk to Paseo 21 de Mayo.
Private car or shared taxi:
By car or shared taxi “Pacífico” with a red sign (Calle Blanco) and get off at Paseo 21 de Mayo.
On foot:
If you are walking, you must go to Plaza Aduana and go up Carampangue street, then take the Artillería staircase until you reach Paseo 21 de Mayo.
