Dra. Mar\u00eda Cecilia Hidalgo, presidenta de la Academia Chilena de Ciencias, tiene el agrado de invitar a la Sesi\u00f3n P\u00fablica h\u00edbrida que celebrar\u00e1 la Corporaci\u00f3n para recibir como Miembro Correspondiente en el Extranjero, a la Profesora Bryna Kra, Doctora en Matem\u00e1ticas de la Stanford University, Profesora titular de la Northwestern University y presidenta de la American Mathematical Society.<\/p>\n

El discurso de incorporaci\u00f3n de la Dra. Kra se titula \u201cDynamics of the integers\u201d<\/em>.
\nSer\u00e1 recibida por el acad\u00e9mico, expresidente y Miembro de N\u00famero, Dr. Servet Mart\u00ednez, y por el Miembro Correspondiente, Dr. Alejandro Maass.<\/p>\n

La ceremonia se realizar\u00e1 el pr\u00f3ximo jueves 30 de mayo, a las 13:00 horas, en la sede de la Academia de Ciencias, ubicada en Almirante Montt 454, Santiago (Metro Bellas Artes). Adicionalmente, se abre la alternativa de participar virtualmente a trav\u00e9s de la plataforma Zoom.<\/p>\n

Dr. Mar\u00eda Cecilia Hidalgo, President of the Chilean Academy of Sciences, is pleased to invite to the hybrid Public Session to be held by the Corporation to receive as a Foreign Corresponding Member, Professor Bryna Kra, PhD in Mathematics from Stanford University, Full Professor at Northwestern University and President of the American Mathematical Society.<\/p>\n

Dr. Kra’s induction address is entitled “Dynamics of the integers”.
\nShe will be received by the academic, Past President and Fellow, Dr. Servet Mart\u00ednez, and by the Corresponding Member, Dr. Alejandro Maass.<\/p>\n

The ceremony will be held next Thursday, May 30, at 1:00 p.m., at the Academy of Sciences, Almirante Montt 454, Santiago (Metro Bellas Artes). Additionally, there is the alternative of participating virtually through the Zoom platform.<\/p>\n
